Penobscot County Regional Communications Center Fire Dispatch - Brewer, Burlington, East Millinocket, Hampden, Lincoln, Lowell, Medway, Old Town, Orono,Patten, Veazie. The following towns are dispatched off Fire 2 for fire and ems: Newburgh, Dixmont, Plymouth, Etna, Carmel, Hermon, Levant, Stetson, Newport, Corinna, Dexter, Garland, also Mayo/Dexter Ambulance.

The Penobscot County Regional Communications Center (PRCC), Only Bangor, University of Maine, and Penobscot Nation dispatch their own police departments now. All other police Departments in Penboscot County are dispatched through PRCC. Patrols are split between sheriff and Maine State Police.
