Feed Notes
154.695 mhz, this is the State Radio 2 frequency. P25 simplex, where state patrol dispatch transmits to the mobile troopers.
159.225 mhz, P25, simplex. This is the frequency where mobile units transmit to the state patrol base stations.
The scanner is setup to cover both of these frequencies with no delay, so that it can quickly catch both sides of the conversation. It is not uncommon to hear the state dispatchers, but have minimal/no reception of the mobile units given their proximity to town.
The scanner is a Uniden HP2, running a decent LNA, and attached to a good external VHF antenna.
