Feed Notes

The Las Vegas City Marshals are a law enforcement agency in Clark County, Nevada, part of the City of Las Vegas government's Department of Public Safety (DPS), serving the city of Las Vegas. Despite being peace officers, Las Vegas City Marshals only have authority and jurisdiction on "real property owned, leased or otherwise under the control of" the City of Las Vegas, which amounts to city buildings, parks, and libraries. Marshals do not have the authority to enforce any county or state laws on public roadways/streets. Further, Marshals are not allowed to investigate felonies and are required to notify LVMPD and transfer the investigation.
