The system is a Harris Radio/ M/A Com  P25 Phase 1, 800 Mhz multi-site, Digital Trunked Radio System covering the Town of Waterford, CT and the City New London, CT. There are Inter-operable patches to East Lyme FD (154.0625), Montville FD (151.0025), Connecticut State Police -Troop E, the Millstone Nuclear Power Station and others. 

The Town of Waterford uses this system for all town communications, Police, Fire, Public Works, Utilities, Rec and Parks,  Building Dept, Administration. I have locked out the non-emergency talk groups. The Town of Waterford recently entered into an agreement with the City of New London to bring them on the system and provide talk groups for all city agencies to comply with the new FCC Narrowbanding requirements by January 2013. I am broadcasting the New London Police and Fire Departments Dispatch and Special Event talk groups.

****  It appears that Waterford and New London Police have started using encryption on their radios. It is on their Tac Channels. I have locked these out of the system so that it will not interfere with the Primary Dispatch Channels. *****
