Feed Notes
MABAS (Mutual Aid Box Alarm System)events in Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin. The antenna has a very high elevation and easily receives large scale Fire/EMS events throughout the Chicago and Milwaukee areas and west on frequency 154.265 MHz.
On average, it picks up dispatch centers within an approximate 100 mile radius from the IL/WI border on Lake Michigan. The antenna is 100’ up on a fire department tower. For sure it picks up the following counties:
IL
Lake
Cook
McHenry
DuPage
Will
WI
Kenosha
Milwaukee
Walworth
Racine
Depending on atmospheric conditions it can pick up further. I set this feed up in 2013 so I am sure your policies have changed since then.
