North Garden Volunteer Fire Company (NGVFC - Station 3)

Pantops Rescue (ACFR - Station 16)

For the most part, unit numbers you hear on the radio will consist of their station number, followed by a single digit. For example, Engine 21 is an engine from Station 2 (ERVFC).  Engine 121 is an engine from Station 12.  There are some exceptions to this, CARS for example, their units begin with 13 or 14 (ie. Car 131, Medic 147).  Single digit units are Charlottesville Fire for the most part. Three digit units beginning with 7 are from Scottsville Rescue.  Three digit units beginning with 5 are from Western Albemarle Rescue Squad.  Medic 11, 12, 15,16, 17, 18, 20, 30, 40 and 60 are ACFR ambulances stationed throughout the county at the same station as their designation.  Medic 11, for example, is stationed at Monticello Fire and Rescue. You will also rarely hear units from Station 9 (CHO Airport).
