The NS Harrisburg East territory is an important nexus in Norfolk Southern’s railroad. The Reading area sees a convergence of trains from the Harrisburg area to the west on the NS Harrisburg Line, from the Philadelphia area to the southeast on the NS Harrisburg Line and from the Allentown and northern New Jersey areas to the northeast on the NS Reading Line.

There are two radio frequencies involved:

AAR Channel 058 - 160.9800 MHz and

AAR Channel 064 - 161.0700 MHz.

This stream scans these two channels and provides wide area coverage. It does not receive yard channels or the road channels of adjacent territories. Radio signals are received from the Lebanon, PA area to the west, the Pottstown area to the southeast and the Alburtis area to the northeast.
