Feed Notes

This stereo feed is located on a hill roughly 9 miles north of downtown Cincinnati. Be sure to turn your volume up and ensure that you can hear both the left and right channels of your speakers or headphones. 

You will regularly hear trains as far north as Hamilton, Ohio and as far south as Ludlow, Kentucky. Dispatcher communications can be heard even farther away. Radio equipment includes two Icom 2100h radios, low loss LMR 400 coax, and high gain roof mounted antennas tuned for the railroad frequencies.  Frequencies monitored include:

CSX - Left Channel:
160.230 - Road Channel 
161.100 - LC Dispatcher (Cincinnati Terminal Subdivision)
160.320 - LB Dispatcher (Indianapolis & Indiana Subdivisions)
160.290 - LA Dispatcher (Toledo & Middletown Subdivisions)

Norfolk Southern - Right Channel:
