The three Chief's (2-9-30,31,32); Paramedic (2-9-Medic); both ambulances (2-9-5 & 15); 3 pumpers (2-9-3, 2-9-6, 2-9-8) & ladder 2-9-7 have a mobile data terminal and can use it to indicate they're responding, on scene or returing instead of using the radio. So at times you might not hear them but will hear the dispatcher acknowledge them on the radio.
