Feed Notes

This feed will stream nearly every* fire department dispatch and fireground talk groups in Summit County.  There may be extended periods of silence and periods of non-stop activity.  Akron Fire Dispatch is excluded, but their fireground talkgroups ARE included so if they're at an actual fire scene it will be played.  County Mutual Aid talkgroups are included for major multi-agency scenes.

Agency Unit Prefixes:
* This feed provides Alpha tags to help you determine what agency is talking.  Use an app like Scanner Radio Delux that supports alpha tags.  This list of radio prefixes may help identify which FD/EMS you're hearing:

Hudson Fire (working on a remote RX package to include their UHF in this stream)

Queued approach:

The way this feed works a single transmission or a group of transmissions that occur rapidly back to back will be played.  If any other talkgroup in the feed happens to transmit at the same time as another, the second transmission to occur will be recorded and played in sequence.  From time to time if numerous agencies are very busy this may cause transmissions to get backed up 30-60 seconds until the queue catches up.  The benefit of this approach is almost no transmission is ever skipped.
