Feed Notes

The following agencies are monitored on this feed: Los Pinos Fire District (Ignacio, CO), VHF & 800 DTRS; Durango Fire Rescue Authority (Durango, CO), VHF & 800 DTRS; Upper Pine River Fire District (Bayfield, CO), VHF & 800 DTRS; Fort Lewis Mesa Fire District (Hesperus, CO), VHF & 800 DTRS; Pagosa Fire District (Pagosa Springs, CO), VHF; FERN (Colorado Statewide), VHF; Bureau of Indian Affairs Fire (Ignacio, CO), VHF; Bureau of Land Management Fire (Farmington, NM), VHF; Pagosa EMS (Pagosa Springs, CO), VHF; LaPlata County OEM (Durango, CO), VHF & 800 DTRS; San Juan County Fire (Aztec, NM – Includes the Cities of Aztec, Bloomfield, and Farmington, NM), VHF.

The Public Safety Agencies in LaPlata and Archuleta County, CO are transitioning over to the Colorado 800 Digital Trunked Radio System. As additional tower sites are installed, I should be able to monitor the Pagosa Fire & EMS DTRS Talk Groups. They are currently simulcasting on VHF and that is on the feed.

San Juan County, NM is has finished up work on a new repeater site for their VHS System in the Quintana Mesa Area of New Mexico, along the Colorado border. This fixed the sometimes “scratchy” reception on the Fire frequencies.

I hope you enjoy the feed, and please feel free to visit the provider at www.buffaloheadfire.com.
