Feed Notes

I don't know what details to give other than this is the A5FM Repeater linked to the N5CG repeater which is full time linked to the AR-LINKS System ... This is amateur radio and I'm broadcasting for severe weather. other details about the C.A.R.E.N Club can be found on carenclub.com ... Here is an excerpt from thier site.

"The C.A.R.E.N. Club is one of the oldest amateur radio clubs in Arkansas, dating back to the late 1950s. Just as the name implies, the C.A.R.E.N. Club is the state leader in emergency communications, SKYWARN, Amateur Radio Emergency Service  (ARES), Radio Amateur Civil Emergency Service (RACES) , public service event support, and training for emergency communications response. The C.A.R.E.N. Club has a long proud history of providing emergency communications, when everything else fails. C.A.R.E.N. sponsors the ARKANSAS SKYWARN Net with seven voice repeaters and two digital repeaters. C.A.R.E.N. sponsors, on average, 20 public service events annually for charitable and non-profit organizations. Other C.A.R.E.N. accomplishments include thirty years affiliation with the American Radio Relay League, the one and only National Amateur Radio Organization. C.A.R.E.N. has sponsored the ALL ARKANSAS HAMFEST in the Little Rock area for over 20 years; and sponsors amateur radio classes to learn to become an amateur radio operator. Several C.A.R.E.N. repeaters can be linked together, providing communications over 90% of the county warning area of the National Weather Service in North Little Rock, Arkansas. This is a distance exceeding 200 miles. The Emergency Coordinators for Pulaski County, Arkansas, the City of Little Rock and North Little Rock, Arkansas, are not only C.A.R.E.N. members, but also the C.A.R.E.N. repeaters are dedicated to their service."
