Storm Spotters use these frequencies for reporting severe weather to Net Control. Net Control then relays the emergency information to the National Weather Service at Valley, Nebraska and to Douglas County Emergency Managment at Omaha Nebraska. By broadcasting and sharing these frequencies, citizens, businesses and agencies can monitor local storm spotter reports. When not being used for SkyWarn, these frequencies are available for general amateur radio use.
