The 146.940 K5FTW Repeater is the Primary Weather Spotter coordination frequency for Tarrant County and Fort Worth RACES Skywarn operrations.  The Spotters in Tarrant county have been working with the National Weather Service and Public Service partners since 1971.  

This repeater may occationallly be linked to the K5FTW 444.100 Repeater to provide addtional coverage when needed.

The K5FTW Repeater is operated by the Fort Worth Chapter of the Texas VHF Society Inc.
