Wheeling Police and Fire Stereo Feed
This feed provides a stereo broadcast of the Police Department on the RIGHT channel and the Fire Department on the LEFT channel. You can adjust your sound card balancer to the RIGHT to listen to PD traffic or move it to the LEFT for FD traffic. When it's in the middle, you'll hear both departments simultaneously.

"On the Air" The company calling is out of the station in their assigned apparatus
"Box up" is typically called out when a "10-96" is issued for a working structure fire. The dispatcher will announce "Refer to box _____ for move-ups which will bring the existing companies towards the center of the City.

Dispatch Tone #1: Announcements or Service/Medical Calls - 8 Beeps of the same frequency
Dispatch Tone #2: Structure Fire - 14 beeps with an alternating High/Low frequency

0800: Start of Shift and any possible announcements
0830: Radio testing of apparatus as well as any other(s) who needs to test portables, base, etc
1300: Dispatch Test saying "Testing 1.....2.....3"
1700: Dispatch Test and end of shift for the non-24-hour personnel
2200: Evening base radio check for each station
