The St. Clair County emergency simulcast system uses the APCO P25 system with a control frequency or 853.6375. This system uses 10 different channels related within the system. We utilize sdr technology and software that can receive all channels at once, record the audio then transmit it out to you, thus assuring you will not miss anything. This allows us the capability of adding temporary talkgroups for such activities as training or special events.
The receiver is located in Saint Clair , 1/2 mile from the broadcast tower.
