This stream carries the W4RAT 442.55 repeater, located near Chesterfield Town Center in Chesterfield County, VA. Audio is sourced from the external control interface on the repeater, via Raspberry Pi with redundant Internet connections (cable + LTE), UPS battery backup and automatic diesel generator power. This repeater carries analog FM traffic within approximately a 50 mile radius. This feed is operated by the Richmond Amateur Telecommunications Society (RATS), which owns the W4RAT repeater system.
This repeater is the primary Wakefield SKYWARN repeater for central Virginia.
